Our mission is to provide authors with a clear pathway to publication. At Brigid Book Works, we know that navigating the publishing industry can be overwhelming, especially for first-time authors. Some markets appear nearly impossible to break into and authors don't always know or understand all their publishing options. We hope to clear up that murkiness by helping authors produce the best possible writing that will not only reach but engage their target audiences.

To achieve that goal, we work hard to match our clients up with exactly the right Brigid Book Works team member, one who shares similar interests and has extensive experience in the author's field or book topic. We believe that establishing a comradely working relationship is of paramount importance when developing original ideas. Because of this tenet, our writers, editors, and designers often develop lifelong friendships with their authors.

At Brigid Book Works, we pride ourselves on asking only the best writers, editors, and designers to join our team. Our team members have been in the industry for over two decades, and our true joy is seeing ideas take shape and develop into books that others can read, absorb, and share with the world. Our clients have been published with every major publishing group, including Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, Hachette, and Macmillan. We've also worked with New York Times bestsellers, celebrities, politicians, and Fortune 500 companies.

Brigid was the Celtic goddess of inspiration and poetry. According to legend, she was born at the exact moment of daybreak. When the sun first crested the horizon, Brigid came into the world bringing light, knowledge, truth, and inspiration. With these gifts, she healed the hearts of the Celtic people and inspired them to create poetry so they could spread and share their newfound wisdom. Bards and poets called her the Bright One and often sang her praises. In their songs, they spoke of how Brigid left trails of small shamrocks in her wake as she moved among the fields. Just like the Celtic goddess, our team at Brigid Book Works hopes to inspire and support authors, helping them grow their ideas into books that can be shared across the globe.
